1 John 4:1-6 Every day every one of us face the same test: we must discern what is true and what is false. Every day there are two spirits speaking to us – one is the Spirit of God, and the other is the spirit of antichrist. When you hear or read the news, when you hear a professor or famous leader, when you listen to a politician, or even a preacher who claims to speak for God, can you tell if they are speaking the truth? Can you pass the test and know what is true or false? Our life depends on our answer. This Sunday, John tells us how we can pass the most important test of all.
