We believe that meeting in small groups throughout the week is an important part of our spiritual walk in addition to gathering together to worship on Sunday. Whether it is discussing the past week's message or going through book together, our small groups seek to encourage one another to grow deeper in our faith. Whatever stage of life you are in, there's a community group for you at CCCTO. If you are visiting us for the first time on Sunday, be sure ask one of the greeters on Sunday to get connected to a community group leader!
What: Parenting: 14 Gospel Principles That Can Radically Change Your Family
When: Friday nights (Starts on Oct. 13)
Time: 7:30 to 9:30pm
Where: CCCTO Room 8
Who: All parents are welcome! (including those with wisdom / experiences)
Why:It is so easy to conform to the world's definition of success, fill our schedule with too many activities and lose sight of what parents are called to do by God. We need other like-minded parents for support, reminder, encouragement and prayer as we seek God's will, not ours for our children.
Contact: Xiaochen (805)304-3334 or email email@example.com
We look forward to growing relationships, mutual encouragement, and becoming more attuned to parenting for the glory of God. The kickoff meeting will be an overview of the book and sharing time. There is no requirement to read the book before this first meeting. We will read the book over the weeks that follow.
When: First Saturday of the month (No meeting on Sept 2)
Time: 6:00 -9:00 pm with potluck
Where: Newbury Park
Who: Married, engaged or dating couples
What: We will be using this series: "Love Like You Mean It" by Bob Lepine.
Every year, millions of men and women stand before friends and family to pledge their lifelong love to each other. Do they know what they’re getting into?
