Children's Ministry

The Children's Ministry at CCCTO is dedicated to partnering with parents in training and raising up the next generation of Christ-followers. We strive to provide a loving and safe environment where each child can grow in their relationship with Christ. It is our hope to reach today's kids through relevant biblical truths, singing, crafts and other fun and creative activities.

We offer a variety of programs on Sundays, as well as Awana on Tuesdays and VBS during the summer. If you are interested in serving or would like more information contact Jacy Yu ( or (805) 380-5376.

Youth & College

The ACT4Christ (Asian-American Collegians & Teens For Christ) Ministries of CCCTO exists to be a missional community who’s members learn how to influence their world with the Christian worldview, particularly from the lifestyle and teaching of Jesus Christ.

We meet Friday evenings for youth/college group from 7:00PM-10:00PM in the Sanctuary, and Sunday mornings for Sunday school from 9:30AM-10:30AM in the Fellowship Hall and Room 7.

Homeless Ministry

We strive to follow God's calling to reach out, serve and evangelize. Through the Homeless Ministry we seek to work together to bring God's love to the poor, lost and needy. We desire to hear God say to us: "For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me" (Matthew 25:35-36). As we serve those in need, we are serving Christ.

Homeless Ministry Testimonials

  • "The Homeless Ministry provided an opportunity for the new CCCTO members such as myself to understand the meaning of serving in our Lord’s name. This is truly a humbling yet invaluable experience for me. One important take away was that we learned to serve others without any judgment. Through this event, I learn to be more patient and to be able to serve with joy."
  • "Many people from our church family selflessly offered their labor to help run the operations, purchase supplies, recruit volunteers through online sign-ups, maintain security and orderliness, prepare the dinner tables, wipe down tables, empty the trash, wash dishes, wash the laundry, clean the bathrooms, distribute bedding supplies and provide breakfast – the fruits of our labor were that we were able to show God’s love to the poor through gifts of service, food, shelter and hospitality."
  • "Although we had just done it once so far, the purpose of conducting the Homeless Ministry is not only assisting our friends in need but also shaping our own character and experiencing God’s grace, mercy, and miracle at the same time from the inside out."
  • "Despite my own inadequacies, our limited experience and facilities, and the mistakes we may have made along the way, I believe that people were blessed through our efforts and that God was honored as we stepped out to serve others. Several homeless guests complimented our church as being exceptionally friendly and welcoming to them. Others expressed interest in knowing more about Jesus as we engaged in spiritual conversations with them. A couple of the guests even declared a new-found faith in Jesus Christ! In addition to blessing others, we ourselves were blessed. We as a church body grew deeper in compassion and deeper in awareness of how to work together for the benefit of others in our community. Our relationships rose to a higher level as we united to serve a cause greater than ourselves."
  • "We won’t perform an act of kindness because it is convenient; we do that because it is needed."
