Pastoral Candidate

Pastor Curtis Lowe

After formal interviews and Q&A sessions, the Pastoral Search Committee, Pastoral Team, and Executive Board recommend Pastor Curtis Lowe as the English Ministry Pastor for CCCTO.

Pastor Curtis was the founding English Pastor for CCCTO back in 1990 and has over 30 years of ministry experience serving in four churches throughout Southern California. He currently is the Senior Pastor of Harvest Community Church in Irvine where he has been serving since 2001. Pastor Curtis has a Doctor of Ministry in Spiritual Formation from Azusa Pacific University,  a Master of Divinity from Bethel West Theological Seminary, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from San Diego State University. His passion for ministry is to shepherd people and help them know Jesus to become more like Him. Pastor Curtis and his wife Carol have been married for 31 years and have three grown children, Gabriel, Angela, and Nathaniel. He enjoys dates with Carol, spending time alone with each of his children, and eating and laughing together with all of them. He enjoys golfing, reading, exercising, journaling, and roasting his own coffee.

Our Pastoral Team has affirmed that Pastor Curtis has solid doctrine and orthodox theology aligned with the bylaws and statement of faith of CCCTO. He is a willing participant of the Great Oaks Church Planting Association vision. Additionally, his strengths and experience in discipleship, care, and preaching align with the main needs of the English Ministry of CCCTO. Pastor Curtis exhibits strong faith, spiritual maturity, and a close relationship with Jesus.

Based on his sound qualifications, the General Assembly voted and confirmed the recommendation to proceed with his hiring. The PSC is in process of preparing paperwork and proceeding with an offer. If you have any further questions, please contact Jerry Yu at
